Children's Library Service

Children of all ages, their parents and carers are welcome in Durham libraries. All our libraries have collections of books for children of all ages. These include:

• Board books for babies and toddlers.
• Picture books.
• Books for children just starting to read.
• Story and information books for all ages.
• Books to support homework.
• Books for teenage readers.

Some libraries will also hold collections of Audiobooks on cassette tape or CD, Videos and DVDs.

Libraries may also organise activities and events aimed specifically at children - story times, homework clubs, craft times, school visits etc.
