Environmental Awards

Enhancing and protecting the county's environment is a key priority for Durham County Council, to ensure a better quality of life for everyone now and for generations to come.

The Environment Service has been recognised many times for its contribution to this priority, and continues to support, enter and run environmental projects and awards which encourage communities, businesses and individuals to do their bit for the future of County Durham.
