Shotton Hall Infant and Shotton Hall Junior Schools
As part of a programme to address surplus places in schools, the Local Authority has begun a consultation on the preferred option to re-organise Shotton Hall Infant and Shotton Hall Junior Schools into a new build primary school with effect from 1 September 2011.
These sessions were attended by senior officers of the Local Authority. Outcomes of this initial consultation were reported to Durham County Council's Cabinet on 18 September 2008 who agreed to move to the next stage in the consultation process which is to publish a statutory notice.

'Drop-in' sessions were held for parents of pupils and/or the local community at:
- Shotton Hall Junior School on Monday 23 June 2008 at 9.00 am - 10.00 am and 6.30 pm - 7.15 pm.
- Shotton Hall Infant School on Wednesday 25 June 2008 at 9.00 am - 10.00 am and 6.30 pm - 7.30 pm.
