County Durham Books

Also housed within the Marketing and Information Team is County Durham Books, the ‘publishing wing’ of Adult and Community Services. It is here that local history books are designed, prepared for print, published and sold in libraries, through retailers across the county and by direct sale (including online through our Online Shop). We normally aim to publish 3-4 books per year.

County Durham Books also operates the sale of local history books, gifts, stationary and other merchandise in some of our libraries and to the public.
