Overview and Scrutiny
Chairman's Welcome
The overview and scrutiny process offers both opportunities and challenges for councillors and members of the public to improve the quality and delivery of services we provide to our local communities. The following web pages provide information about how we are implementing overview and scrutiny. We feel that we have made a good start to this new statutory function. This has been recognised by the Audit Commission in two Comprehensive Performance Assessments of the County Council.

Councillor Joe Armstrong,
Chairman of the Overview
