Joint Strategic Needs Assessment Consultation

Have Your Say on the County's Health and Wellbeing

Durham County Council, County Durham Primary Care Trust and other organisations are working together to draw up a detailed picture of the health and wellbeing needs of the people of County Durham.

Health and wellbeing is about more than treating people when they are ill, it is about keeping them healthy and independent throughout their lives.

By working together, a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) will be produced highlighting areas where more needs to be done to improve people’s health and wellbeing. A range of information has already been looked at and now it’s your turn to have your say. Views and comments from local people, service users and carers, provider organisations and professionals are essential to make sure the complete picture of need across the County is understood.

Community Questionnaire

We have created a questionnaire to help members of the public respond to the consultation, this is available below as a document or through the on-line feedback form. For provider organisations, health professionals and other interested stakeholders who may want to provide more detailed comments, we have included some questions in briefing note 3 (below) which you may want to frame your responses around, although please do not feel constrained by these questions.
