Elections - Proxy Votes

Local elections give you the opportunity to vote for your choice of County Councillor - your elected representative on the Council for the area in which you live.

Many people find that they are too busy or unable to vote in person on Polling Day. If that's you, then you might want to follow the example of hundreds of other people in the County who vote by post or proxy. All you have to do is to return the relevant application form to the election officer at your local district council.

Further information about the three different ways you can vote at a local election are available on the Electoral Registration About My Vote website.
