Most importantly, the Travellers’ Liaison Service is committed to tackling racism directed against Gypsies and Travellers. Gypsies and Travellers have a unique and rich cultural heritage, and are one of Britain’s oldest ethnic groups. The Travellers’ Liaison Service recognises the contribution that Gypsies and Traveller make to society, and seeks to promote respect and understanding for their way of life.
