Progress Reviews

Every once in a while your Steps worker will need to meet with your family or carers and your social worker to check how everything is. Sometimes it could even involve your teacher or somebody else that you are close to. This is called a 'review' and helps us to see how the work is going and to make a plan to decide what to do next.

You can come along to the review but you don't have to be there - we will still talk to you about things that may be said.

"What I wanted was to be allowed to do what I felt was right", (quote from a child who used Steps).

Remember - This service is for you!

Your Steps worker will work closely with you until you are happy to stop your visits to us. You will always be involved in how you think this should be done and we will listen to how you feel about this.

All young people have a right to be respected and heard.

We hope that you will always feel that we have treated you fairly. If you don't you have the right to complain - let either your STEPS worker or social worker know and we will help you to do this.

"I did trust - it went ok", (quote from a child who used Steps).
