What Happens Next?

We will listen to what you say and make a plan to see how we can help with your worries or feelings.

You will usually come and see us once a week, normally for about an hour, but we can talk through with you how often you would like to meet.

As well as helping you, the Steps worker can also help your family or carers

"We made a special friendship, then I moved on", (quote from a child who has used Steps)

Sharing Information

It is important to us that you can trust us and feel safe. Sometimes there may be things that need to be shared with important people in your life but we will talk this through with you first.

If you say or do something that makes your Steps worker feel worried that you are being hurt by someone or that you may be hurting someone they will talk to you about this. They will explain why they have to share this information with your social worker.
