The Directions Helpline
Anyone requiring information can contact our service and speak to one of our trained information providers. The service is free and confidential. Durham County Council's Community Information Online covers 'general community' information. It is available to search online free of charge and allows access to hundreds of subjects and thousands of individual records. Searches can be ordered by Subject, Area or Title. Through close co-operation with the Children's Information Service, information is also offered on childcare including: childminders, nurseries, playgroups, out of school hours/holiday care, toddler groups and nursery education.
