Conference Facilities
Three conference rooms accommodating between 30 and 75 persons and the Council Chamber accommodating up to 250 persons are available for hire. Use is restricted to week day evenings and Saturdays only.

Durham Leadership Centre
A first class training and learning environment.
In September 2004 Durham County Council proudly opened a new purpose built Education Development Centre on the Enterprise Way site at Spennymoor, with good road links to the A688 and A1(M) and ample free parking within the grounds. The building is home to three services: Educational Psychology, ITSS and the Durham Leadership Centre.
As expected the new building has been designed with flexibility in mind and upstairs the Leadership Centre offers the discerning client a first class training and development environment. There are five training rooms (four for up to 25 people, one for up to 50 people) and a conference hall accommodating up to 120 people. All these are equipped with the latest technology. In addition there are three small meeting rooms (10/12 people).
Lunchtime catering is provided in the light and airy downstairs hospitality area with a varied selection of hot and cold food to choose from. Vending machines are available to supply teas/coffees throughout the day.

Stanley Education Centre
Stanley Education Centre, set in peaceful, pleasant surroundings, lies close to the A68 with good road links to the A1. With ample free car parking and easy access to rooms, Stanley Education Centre provides a friendly, professional venue for all your meeting and conference requirements.
There are four meeting rooms (three accommodating up to 25 people and one up to 60 people depending on desired layout) and a conference hall seating up to 100 people. All of our meeting rooms are light and airy and come equipped with television, video, over-head projector, flipchart, multi media projector and lap top, all at no extra cost.
In addition to our conference and meeting facilities you can also take advantage of our support services i.e. photocopying, fax machine and porterage.
Our on site caterer can provide a varied menu selection of hot lunches, buffets and afternoon teas, either served in our dining area or delivered to your room. Water coolers and vending machines supplying tea/coffee are available in all of the rooms.
