Business Continuity Advice
Is your business prepared to survive?
The Civil Contingencies Act 2004 places a responsibility on Local Authorities to provide advice and assistance to local businesses and voluntary organisations about Business Continuity Management. The aim is to encourage organisations to engage in Business Continuity Management activities and develop Business Continuity Plans for their organisations in order to increase local resilience. Durham County Council is currently working with the County Durham and Darlington Civil Contingencies Unit and other local responding organisations on a variety of ways in which the Council can expand on current available advice.
The County Durham and Darlington Civil Contingencies Unit has produced an information pack and leaflet on behalf of the 9 local authorities in County Durham and Darlington which contains information, advice and details of where further Business Continuity information can be obtained. This pack is attached below.
