Annual Support Grant
If you can answer yes to all five of the following questions your brass band is probably eligible for the Brass Band Annual Support Grant:
We usually send out application forms in April to bands who have previously received the grant and whose details therefore are on our database. If your band hasn't applied for a grant before, you will need to obtain an application form from:
- Is your bandroom situated in the area administered by Durham County Council?
- Does your brass band have its own written constitution, named officers, bank account and annual statements of accounts?
- Is membership of your brass band open to all individuals consistent with the County’s Equal Opportunities Policy?
- Can your brass band provide evidence of regular rehearsals and a programme of public performances?
- Does your brass band demonstrate a commitment to encourage younger players?
