Newsletter

Community Matters, the newsletter for the Community Heritage Project is published three times each year - January, May and September. Look out for copies in your local library, community centre or from your local history society.

More and more people are becoming interested in historical events which may have affected their family, village or community. Do you have a story to tell about a particular event in your village or town? Do you have some memories you would like to share? Have you made any discoveries when carrying out research? Have you visited any heritage events or sites in the County recently? If so, why not tell us about it? This is your opportunity to see your articles and stories in print!

Community Matters, Issue 13, June 2008

In this 12 page issue you can read about the British Steel Archive Project which is now underway, the newly refurbished Head of Steam - Darlington Railway Museum plus much more.
