Central heating grants

First time central heating

We're working with E.ON Energy and 0800 Repair to provide grants to replace your old solid fuel back boiler or electric storage radiators with a new wall mounted gas boiler and central heating. If your home doesn't have a gas boiler and central heating, you may be eligible to receive a grant for up to £5000 for a new central heating system.

Who qualifies for this grant

To qualify you need to:

• be an owner occupier or rent from a private landlord
• have solid fuel heating and have no more than one radiator installed in your home or electric storage radiators
• have a total household income less that £30,000 or be in receipt of a qualifying benefit

What your grant will pay for

If you qualify you could receive a grant for the following:

• new gas connection to your home (within 23 meters of the gas mains)
• new energy efficient wall mounted gas boiler
• new central heating radiators
