Hutchinson Library

Bishop Auckland group libraries (Hutchinson Library, Town Hall and Woodhouse Close Library, Woodhouse Lane) produce a combined new additions list each month. These are titles that are new to the libraries - a mix of new releases and older stock which we think would be appreciated by borrowers.

Ordering a Book

If you would like access to the County's book catalogue you can visit Library Online.

Any book or audio book listed in the catalogue (on cassette or disc) may be reserved for a fee of 30p. There is no additional reservation fee for CDs, DVDs or videos, merely their standard hire charges. Please remember that popular items may have quite long waiting lists, and your patience is appreciated. You will be informed by phone, post or email when the item is available.

Remember, you can use you Library membership card in any library in the County - you can order and pick up, and also return to different libraries than that at which you joined.
