Half Term Activities

The gallery of monsters!

Saturday 20 - Wednesday 31 October
10.00am-4.00pm

Join us all week for our Gallery of Monsters Park Trail. How many monster portraits will you discover in our woodland gallery?

Wizard school!

Monday 22 October and Tuesday 23 October
10.00am - 11.30am or 1.00pm - 2.30pm

Join Hardwick's very own professor of witchcraft and wizardry as they show you how to make the perfect broomstick, join a potions class and embark on some suitable spooky activities and games in our yurt. Ages 6+

£6 per child.

Frightful family crafts

Wednesday 24 October

Join us as we celebrate Halloween with some arty fun in the education room.

£3 per child. drop in (no need to book)

Nikki Noo Noo's pumpkin party!

Thursday 25 October

11.00am, 12.30pm or 2.00pm

It's party time! Join Nicki Noo Noo as she leads a special Halloween celebration in our yurt. There will be music, games, dancing and themed crafts.

£6 per child.

Woodland trick or treat

Friday 26 October

10.00am - 11.30am or 1.00pm - 2.30pm

Is it a trick? Is it a treat? You'd better be nimble on your feet! Find the woodland witch, solve her riddles and complete her challenges in this fun Halloween quest amongst the trees. Ages 4+

£4 per child.

Welly walk

Saturday 13 October and Sunday 28 October

10.00am-4.00pm,

Collect your trail form the shop and test out our crunchy, splashy and squelchy route around the park. Don't forget your wellies. Suitable for all ages.

Toddler tales and trails: Meg and Mog

Wednesday 10 and Saturday13 October

10.00am-11.30am or 1.00pm-2.30pm

Special session designed for children under five including storytelling, fun trails, outdoor activities and themed crafts.

£4 per child.

Family den building

Saturday 3 November

10.00am -11.30am or 1.00pm - 2.30pm

Create a den, learn how to light a fire and enjoy hot chocolate and marshmallows.

£10 per den (max 5 people per den)

Snowman Trail

Saturday 1 December - Sunday 6 January

Help! Father Christmas is hosting a special party for all the snowmen of the world, but some have gotten lost on the way! Can you help us find them? Discover them all before returning to the gift shop to claim your special sticker.

Suitable for all.

Collect from the gift shop during opening hours.

£1 per trail sheet.

Wooden snowman making

Sunday 2 December

Various timeslots available.

Come and work with the rangers to make your very own snowman using natural materials collected from the park.

Ages 4+

Various timeslots available.

Come and work with the rangers to make your very own reindeer using natural materials collected from the park.

Ages 5+

Father Christmas in the park

15, 16, 22, 23 December

Various timeslots available.

As part of the festive season Father Christmas will be spending time in our specially decorated yurt, visit him within your chosen time period and receive a gift. Each ticket will entitle the holder to take part in our Christmas themed park trail, join in Christmas craft activities and story time in addition to visiting Father Christmas. Suitable for all.

Tickets can be purchased from our gift shop from Saturday 20 October.

£10.50 per child.
