Heritage Open Days

Saturday 9 September

11.00am - 1.00pm (drop-in)

Come along and create your own Georgian style mask and then join in with our children's heritage walk at 1.00pm. Suitable for all ages. Free.

Spoon Scarecrows

Saturday 16 September

10.00am - 11.30pm and 1.00pm - 2.30pm

Explore the park with our education team and learn all about the signs of autumn. Then create your very own scarecrow using your imagination and a range of materials. Suitable for ages 3 and over. £6 per child, advance booking required. Please contact us.

Muddy Mayhem

Muddy Mayhem is our annual mud run which takes place each October.

Let's go fly a kite

Sunday 15 October 

10.00am-11.30am and 1.00pm-2.30pm

Can you make a kite that flies high in the sky? Join our education team and make a kite with different colours and materials then take it onto temple field to try out.  Suitable for ages 4 and over. £4 per child, advance booking required. Please contact us.

Welly walk

Friday 20 october to Monday 23 October 

10.00am - 4.00pm (drop-in)

Collect your trail from the gift shop and test out our crunchy, splashy and squelchy route around the park. Don't forget your wellies! Suitable for all ages. 50p per trail.            

Wizard School

Tuesday 24 October and Wednesday 25 October                                                                            

10.00am-11.30am or 1.00pm-2.30pm

Join Hardwick's very own Professor of Witchcraft and Wizardry and make the perfect elder wand, join a potions class and embark on some spooky activities and games in our yurt. Suitable for ages 6 and over.

A family trail for aspiring wizards. Grab your trail sheet from the gift shop and start your wizarding adventure around the park. Suitable for all ages. 50p per trail.

Woodland Trick or Treat

Friday 27 October

10.00am-11.30am or 1.00pm-2.30pm

Is it a trick? Is it a treat? You'd better be nimble on your feet! Find the woodland witch, solve her riddles and complete her challenges in this fun Halloween quest amongst the trees. Suitable for ages 4 and over. £4 per child, advance booking required. Please contact us.

Spooky Crafts

Friday 27 October

11.00am-3.00pm (drop in) 

Join us as we celebrate Halloween with some arty fun indoors. Suitable for all ages. £3 per child.

Family Den Building

Saturday 4 November

10.00am-11.30am and 1.00pm-2.30pm

Enjoy some quality family time in the woods, create a den, learn how to light a fire and enjoy some hot chocolate whilst toasting marshmallows. Suitable for age 6 and over. £10 per den, advance booking required. Please contact us.
