Visitors to Durham's UNESCO World Heritage Site can discover the history of the Durham Light Infantry thanks to a new, free gallery.
Courage, Comrades, Community at Durham University's Palace Green Library will, by drawing on the DLI Collection, chart the distinguished role of the regiment in more than 200 years of conflict across the globe.
The exhibition in Palace Green Library runs from Saturday, March 11 and admission is free. The gallery opens from 10.00am to 4.45pm, Tuesday to Sunday and noon to 4.45pm on Mondays.

The DLI's medal collection is now held at Palace Green Library which is part of Durham University. Medals are not on display, but you can look at individual medals or groups of medals from the collection. See DLI medals collection at Durham University for more information.
