Apply for a garage plot on one of our sites across the county.
A garage plot is a piece of land that you can rent on which you can construct your own garage, subject to the usual regulations. Garage plots are rented under a 12 months licence and year to year thereafter, terminable by either side giving one month's notice in writing.
The licensee can erect a garage on the plot however it must not be a permanent structure as it should be taken down at the end of the licence. The garage may not exceed 10.5 feet (W) x 16.5 feet (L) x 8 feet (H) in size (3.2 metres (W) x 5.0 metres (L) x 2.4 metres (H))
It is the responsibility of the licensee to seek relevant planning permission and building control permission for any structure on the plot. We do not allow containers, portable cabins or similar structure or double garages to be built on the garage plot.
The garage plot may only be used for private motor vehicles. Any commercial use or storage is strictly prohibited.
