Board's purpose

The purpose of the board is to make sure the Area Action Partnership (AAP) is working on its key priorities and to oversee the spending of local AAP budgets.

Board membership

The GAMP board consists of seven elected members from Durham County Council and Great Aycliffe Town Council, seven members of the public, and seven representatives from partner organisations including police, fire, health service, voluntary sector, business and a local housing provider.

The chair of the GAMP board is Grace Porter (public representative), who was elected in May 2016.

Councillor Brian Hall (Great Aycliffe Town Council) - Vice Chair, and from Durham County Council: Councillor Eddy Adam, Councillor John Clare, Councillor Mike Dixon, Councillor Joan Gray, Councillor Sarah Iveson and Councillor Kate Hopper.

Chris Cunnington-Shore, Graham Tarn, Grace Porter (Chair), Ken Fox, Barry Knevitt, Martin Boys and Alan Jordan.

Partner representatives
