County Durham Partnership
The County Durham Partnership is made up of key public, private and voluntary sector organisations that work together to improve the quality of life for the people within County Durham.
We are the lead member of the County Durham Partnership and together with our partners we have developed the Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS). This sets out the partners vision and priority objectives and identifies the changes that we think should be made to improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of the area and make it an 'Altogether Better Durham'.
The partnership has five lead thematic partnerships, detailed below, which each concentrate on specific areas of work:
- County Durham Economic Partnership (CDEP)
- County Durham Children and Families Partnership
- County Durham Health and Wellbeing Board
- Safe Durham Partnership
- County Durham Environment Partnership
Area Action Partnerships, Parish and Town Councils and the Voluntary and Community Sector are also part of the County Durham Partnership.
