Support for adopted children and young people

Our Adoptables group is for adopted young people aged 13-25 who live in County Durham.

The Adoptables network was set up by Coram, the UKs oldest children's charity, and has groups all over the country.

Adoptables support adopted young people and help them have their voices heard. You can find out more about the Adoptables network at Coram: The Adoptables.

By joining an Adoptables group you can take part in a range of workshops and have the chance to share your views on adoption-related topics with our adoption team.

The groups are about you, so Adoptables will chat with you and plan activities around what you want. The link below is an example of the work of the Adoptables, a video to help young people tell their story:

The first group will be on 23 September at 6pm. This event will be a virtual event using zoom.

If you'd like to join in or find out more please contact us.
