Care home support plan
In line with government guidance, we are publishing our care home support plan and details of financial support for care providers.
Care homes
It is a key government and council priority to ensure that care home providers are supported during the Covid-19 pandemic. We, with our NHS partners are working in partnership with care homes in County Durham to support them through the Covid-19 pandemic.
In line with government guidance, we have worked with system partners to agree:
- a letter to government that sets out a short overview of our current activity and forward plan - see
- a short Care Home Support Plan template that confirms the current level of access to the support offer -
We have published these planning returns here. Information that care homes have submitted through the national provider Capacity Tracker has been taken into account in our plan.
Sector wide financial support
To improve transparency, we are also publishing the financial support offered to providers of residential, domiciliary care and other social care services, including rate uplifts and additional Covid-19 specific temporary funding.
