For 2019 - 20 the partnership have supported a number of projects including:

Prison Me No Way

Prison Me No Way is a national education charity with the core aim of raising awareness among young people about the causes, consequences and penalties of crime.

Workshops are delivered in school across the area and tackle issues such as:

  • Harassment and Relationships
  • Domestic Abuse
  • Extremism
  • Knife and Weapons Crime
  • Anti-Social Behaviour
  • Choices and Consequences
  • Prison Environment
  • Meeting and speaking with ex-prisoners
  • A Youth Court
  • Arson and Hoax Calls

Four Clocks Club and Memory Club

The Four Clocks Club and Memory Club meet every week with the overall aim of reducing isolation and loneliness in Older People. The attendees choose the activities which range from games to bingo, crafts and occasional singer. The group will be open to new members and will be advertised on noticeboards, word of mouth, posters in medical centre, Bishops Press, etc. The club also arranges outings, including the seaside, Garden Centres and theatre.

Woodhouse Close Crisis Intervention

The partnership continues to support the Centre Manager and Crisis Intervention Project at Woodhouse Close. This is a programme that supports financial hardship and crisis situations. The Centre coordinates staff and volunteers who work with clients and assess needs and offer solutions and support on an individual bases. Support can include food packages, utilities and advice.
