School nurse and health visiting services consultation
Views are needed to help shape the future of County Durham's health visiting and school nursing services.
Our public health team is seeking feedback on the health visiting and school nurse services as it looks to improve the effectiveness and quality of Growing Healthy County Durham.
This is a service that supports families, children and young people across the county in their homes and within communities and education settings, helping them to live as healthy lives as possible.
Amanda Healy, our director of public health, said: "Feedback from this consultation will help shape the future of the vitally important health visitor and school nursing services.
"Ensuring children have the best possible start in life and continuing to support families to improve their health outcomes is a high priority for us.l.
"We want to make sure the new service meets the needs of families and children and young people in the county, so your views are important to us."
