Annfield Plain Library celebrated its centenary in December 2008 and is County Durham's only Carnegie library. (A Carnegie library is a library built with money donated by Scottish-American businessman and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie.)
Situated next to Catchgate Methodist Church, on the main road through Annfield Plain and Catchgate, it offers a wide variety of services, events and facilities for you and your family to enjoy. The library is accessible to all, and supernova screen-reading software and a large keyboard are available.
