Bus fares and passes

Information about public transport fares, concessionary schemes and how to apply for bus passes.

Save money

There are a variety of ticket types which can be purchased for public transport journeys which can save you money on a single fare. Check with your travel operator for savings from purchasing day return, day travel, season tickets or travel cards.

Concessionary schemes

Older people and people with disabilities

Older people and people with disabilities can apply for a national pass to save them money on buses across the country. Find out how to apply for an older persons bus pass or how to apply for a disabled persons bus pass

Renew your bus pass

Find out how to get your new bus pass on our bus pass renewals page.

Children and young people

If you're having trouble proving your age to the bus driver why not apply for an under 14s bus card. This will help you prove your age to the driver so that you only have to pay half fare.
