Ahoy there Robinson...special ticket offer for Gala pantomime
Families with the surname Robinson are eligible for a special treat this Christmas thanks to a festive offer from the Gala Theatre.
To take advantage of the offer, tickets must be bought by calling the box office on 03000 266 600 or visiting the venue in person. Proof of ID is required on purchase or collection of the tickets and the offer does not apply to tickets already booked.
Fantastic start to festivities
Two people who enjoyed the show in its opening week were Laura Robinson and her nine-year-old daughter Nina from South Shields.
"The show was a fantastic start to our Robinson family festivities! The grown-ups loved the local references and cheeky innuendos and Nina loved the slapstick silliness and singalongs," she said.
"There's nothing quite like the panto for getting the whole family in the mood for Christmas and Robinson Crusoe had us all dancing in our seats!"
Over 26,000 tickets have already been sold for this year's pantomime, with Gala favourites Neil Armstrong and Paul Hartley returning to write, direct and star in the production which follows Robinson Crusoe (Jamie Brown) on his quest to find adventure, romance and the fabled pearl of wisdom.
The pantomime runs until Saturday, 6 January, with a BSL interpreted performance on Sunday, 10 December and a relaxed show for people with autism on Thursday, 14 December.
