Gambling Act

We asked you to have your say on the review of our Gambling Act 2005 Statement of Principles, also known as the "gambling policy".

The consultation closed on Friday 6 July 2018.

Horden masterplan

We wanted the views of the communities of Horden to help develop a masterplan for the numbered streets Horden village.

The consultation closed on Thursday 5 July 2018.

LGBT+ health

We want to help improve the physical, mental and social wellbeing of people in County Durham for our LGBT+ communities.

The consultation closed on Friday 29 June 2018.

Durham City's riverbanks and garden walks 

We would like to hear your views and experiences of Durham's riverbanks and walks to the surrounding gardens.

The consultation closed on Tuesday 5 June 2018.

20mph part-time speed limit

We consulted on introducing 20mph part-time speed limits on the roads outside and around schools in County Durham.

The consultations had a variety of closures dates through April and May, depending on the scheme.

Superfast broadband survey

We carried out a consultation to help us to identify areas that may be suitable for future public funding for superfast broadband.

Proposal to close the Sherburn Hill site of Sherburn Primary School 

We are proposing to close the Sherburn Hill site of Sherburn Primary School on 31 August 2018 and wanted your views. 

A statutory notice was issued and the closing date for comments was Thursday 5 April 2018.

Proposal for a new railway station at Horden

We wanted to share more detail of how we have progressed with the development of a new rail station for Horden.

We are considering the live streaming of some council meetings in the future and want your views.

Durham History Centre

You were invited to have your say on proposals for a new history centre for Durham.

The closing date for comments was Sunday 18 February 2018.

Proposal to merge Wingate Infant and Wingate Junior schools 

We are proposing to merge Wingate Infant and Wingate Junior schools into a single primary school on existing school sites from 1 September 2018. 

The closing date for the statutory public notice was 8 February 2018.

Chester-le-Street flood prevention

We asked for your views on a proposed scheme to help reduce the risk of flooding in Chester-le-Street.

Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) consultation
