People in County Durham are being reminded that they need to be registered to vote if they wish to have their say in the forthcoming local elections.
County and parish council elections are due to take place on Thursday, 4 May.
Poll cards will be delivered to residents between Friday, 31 March and Monday, 3 April.
If you are currently listed on the electoral register and eligible to vote in this election, you will receive a poll card providing details of your allocated polling station.
If you are not registered, you still can - to register, complete the online registration at Gov.uk: register to vote online by Thursday, 13 April.
If you are listed on the electoral register, you can request a postal or proxy vote. The deadline for postal vote applications is 5pm on Tuesday, 18 April and for proxy vote applications is 5pm on Tuesday, 25 April.
