Proposal to merge Bowburn Infant and Nursery school and Bowburn Junior school (phase 2)

We proposed merging Bowburn Infant and Nursery school and Bowburn Junior school into a single primary school in a new build on the site of Bowburn Junior School from 1 September 2019. A statutory notice has now been issued.

The closing date for the statutory public notice was 15 December 2017.

Short breaks for parents/carers of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities

We wanted your views on shaping a new community short breaks offer, that will improve access to short breaks for parents/carers of children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

Road safety measures for the A67 at Barnard Castle

We proposed a series of road safety measures on the A67 between Bowes and Barnard Castle - including Barnard Castle town centre, and wanted your views on the plans at two drop-in sessions on Wednesday 18 October and Monday 23 October.
