Travelling to Lumiere

Tens of thousands of people will be heading to Lumiere this November so make sure you've planned how you're going to get here beforehand. Find information about our Lumiere park and ride services and road closures.

Park and Ride

The best option, if you're coming by car, is to use our Lumiere Park and Ride. There will be over 3000 Park and Ride spaces each night with frequent bus services dropping you in the heart of the city. All for just £2 per person.

Bus or rail

The bus and rail stations are just a short walk from the city centre. Extra bus services for Lumiere are being provided from a variety of locations across the North East.
