<p>Formerly an ancient chapelry in the Diocese of Durham, it became part of the Diocese of Newcastle in 1930.
<p>The original registers are deposited at the Northumberland Record Office, Morpeth Records Centre, The Kylins, Loansdean, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 2EQ, UK.
