Durham County Council is taking part in a new government programme called Home Access, which helps low-income families without access to a computer and/or the internet get online.
Through the initiative, eligible low-income families can receive a grant to pay for a Home Access computer and internet package.
We support Home Access because we recognise that it can make a real difference to schoolchildren and their education as using technology for learning is proven to help your child achieve more and do better in their studies. It also makes learning fun for children, and is a great way for you to become more involved in your child's education.
